Using data to drive decision-making is not a new phenomenon for successful businesses and entrepreneurs. However, it is now easier than ever to collect and use data for all facets of an organization, and therefore it is inexcusable to make important decisions based off emotion alone. As Eric Schmidt of Google has said, "if you don't have data, you can't decide."
